Led by Spark, participants will delve into strategies for setting and achieving personal and team goals, honing their decision-making abilities, and harnessing the power of mentorship. Spark: Annapolis

Spark: The Pop Up hosts its 6th Leadership Development and Growth workshop with a focus on Veterans. Spark's mission is to develop leaders through inspiration, conversation, and growth, in order to better prepare individuals for all levels of leadership from executive positions and indidual leadership skills. 

Spark: Annapolis presents its main topics : 

"Defining Your Vision" presented by Dominique Wright, NFL Contract Coordinator and US Navy Lieutenant (Reserves). Her talk will highlight her journey from Active Duty to working for the NFL, navigating the transition process, and how leadership aided her in pushing boundaries to succeed in her desired career field, and how you can do it, too. 

"Rebuild Resiliency" presented by Kate Middleton, US Navy Veteran, Ph.D student in Religion and Culture, and amazing mom. Kate transitioned from her time as a Naval officer and in adidtion to motherhood, has focused her studies on Religion and Culture with respect to an alarmingly high rate of suicice among Veterans. Her talk will touch on the importance of transitioning with purpose and understanding some of the underlying triggers for mental health decline within Veteran groups, and how to begin to overcome them using, among other things, Leadership and character development. 

Spark's workshop portion will focus on the often overlooked and underdeveloped skill of Emotional Intelligence. Through several immersive activities, attendees will learn exactly what EQ is, why it is important to develop as a leader, how it ties into society today, and ways to introduce and assist their teams in developing their individual emotional intelligence. 

Spark's ticket price is $30.00 per person. Lunch will be provided at the venue and this cost also covers your parking at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in addition to the three hour immersive development training.
